The managerial restructuring of B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan has reached a decisive phase, with 14 candidates shortlisted to fill three crucial executive positions. The upcoming selections aim to steer the leadership across the institution's academic, administrative, and clinical wings.

According to an official notice released on Monday, the institute has finalized four applicants for the position of Rector (Education Chief), six for Registrar, and four for Hospital Director. The final evaluation will take place through presentations and personal interviews scheduled for Bhadra 10 at the Vice Chancellor’s office.

For the role of Rector, the shortlisted nominees include Prof. Dr. Kajiram Adhikari, Prof. Dr. Krishna Pokharel, Prof. Dr. Robin Maskey, and Prof. Dr. Shivendra Jha. Meanwhile, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Yadav, Dr. Indra Kumar Limbu, Dr. Madhur Basnet, Dr. Shaheraj Ahmad Khan, and Dr. Wimmi Singh are competing for the Registrar's post.

The candidates vying for Hospital Director are Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Jha, Mr. Dharnidhar Baral, Prof. Dr. Shamsher Shrestha, and Mr. Sagar Kumar Tamrakar. The interview schedule specifies time slots starting with Hospital Director candidates from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by Registrar applicants from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and Rector applicants from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

All selected aspirants have been directed to report 30 minutes prior to their designated interview time accompanied by their original credentials. The outcome of this selection process is expected to establish crucial executive governance and operational leadership at the premier health center.
