Yashoda Foods has expanded its retail presence inside Kathmandu Valley by opening the second Kathmandu outlet of Current Mart in Kapan, bringing its full range of products closer to local consumers.

The new branch, located near Reliance College in Kapan, began formal operations on Falgun 26, 2082. The company said the expansion follows the strong response and growing customer demand seen at its first Kathmandu outlet in Katyani Chowk, Baneshwor.

To mark the launch, the company has announced a special 10 percent discount on all products available at the new outlet. The offer is part of the opening campaign aimed at drawing customers to the newly launched store.

The outlet was jointly inaugurated by Yashoda Foods Global Executive Director G.P. Shah and Director Prakash Paudel through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Company representatives, customers and well-wishers were also present at the opening event.

With the launch of the Kapan outlet, consumers will be able to purchase Yashoda Foods products under one roof. The store carries popular Current brand noodles, a variety of snacks, cheese balls, sticks and potato crackers.

Along with these items, the mart also offers Current Gold Masala and CTC tea for tea consumers, as well as spices including cumin powder, coriander powder and red chili powder.

Speaking at the inauguration, Global Executive Director G.P. Shah said the support and trust shown by customers at the Baneshwor branch encouraged the company to extend its service to more locations in Kathmandu. He said consumers in and around Kapan can now access fresh and quality products more conveniently from their own neighborhood, while also benefiting from the 10 percent opening offer.

Established in 2017, Yashoda Foods Pvt. Ltd. is a Nepali food and beverage manufacturing company. The company says it has built a strong position in the hot and spicy noodles segment through its Current brand and has gained popularity among consumers, especially younger buyers.

Yashoda Foods exports its products across Nepal and to more than 22 countries, reflecting its effort to take Nepali tastes to wider international markets. With the opening of the new outlet in Kapan, the company appears to be continuing its retail expansion strategy inside the capital.
