Shah, who serves as the parliamentary leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, chose to take his vows following traditional Vedic rituals, marking a distinct cultural tone for his inauguration.
The event was attended by the highest echelons of the Nepali state, including Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav and Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut.
