Nepal Aaja has identified a worrying trend: fake accounts, radical networks, and extremist sympathizers using social media to spread disinformation, stir division, and incite violence. These actors often operate from abroad, shielded by anonymous profiles, cryptocurrency flows, or encrypted groups, making it difficult for Nepali authorities to respond. But ignoring this threat is no longer an option.

In response, Nepal Aaja has launched an international roster — carefully documenting individuals and groups involved in such harmful activities. This initiative is not designed to shame or silence, but to foster accountability, raise awareness, and support both Nepali and international authorities in addressing cross-border cyber threats. We firmly believe in the right to free speech, but we also believe no one has the right to abuse it to harm others.
